      Pirbright ''Sand Jump"

Looks pretty easy now after years of being trodden down

The same sand Jump that I drove my Ferret Scout Car down much to the amassment of my pal Fast Jock who's misfortune it was to be Commanding in the Turret that day back in 1965. The PTI coming up with a Squad of recruits wasn't very amused either but a few of the recruits were heard to mutter "I want to join that crazy lot" (The Webmaster)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Gentleman RSM in the pic above in Scots Guards uniform (an Ex Guards Para) said "I put my Brigade Squad up ''The Sand Jump'' in No2 dress with respirators for being bone idle and having lack of motivation and enthusiasm (intestinal fortitude) also for lack of controlled aggression and inner drive''

Just received this picture from a GPA member. (2nd Jan 2014)

It shows a distressed Sand Hill, one of the fundamental

pillars of turning Boy's into to Men at Pirbright.

This is what happens when the Guards move out and discipline ceases to exist.
